After bowing out of the FA Cup early, and following a couple of disappointing league draws, Sutton will be seeing this as an opportunity to kickstart the season.

Newcastle have had a good FA Cup run so far this season. Having beaten Evesham, Westfields and Long Eaten already, they are now waiting to play Scunthorpe United in the second round.

Newcastle play at the same level as Sutton, but in the West Division. Due to their great FA Cup run, league form has suffered a little. With 2 draws, a loss and a win, they currently sit in 15th spot on 5 points.

Newcastle Town hail from Newcastle-Under-Lyme in Staffordshire. They play at the Lyme Valley and are nicknamed The Castle. They were formed in 1964, and play in blue with white trim at home, and in a yellow strip away.
Recent successes for the club were Premier Division champions in 09/10, and winning the Staffordshire Senior Cup in the same season.

The last time these two sides met was in this very competition in 2021, where we won 5-4 on penalties after a 0-0 draw.

Hopefully, Sutton can complete the job in normal time, but it will be a tough game for Sutton who will be desperate for some cup success.
