Following the away consecutive defeats it was finally time for the Royals return to the Dominos Arena. The visitors in Shepshed Dynamo who travel down from Leicestershire

Cameron Stuart made one change to the team with new boy Kai Tonge replacing Pedro Lima.

7th Min: It was a lacklustre start from both teams.

11th Min: An early chance for Sutton. Hurley takes the ball down the right and plays it into the box. Unfortunately, it’s saved by the Shepshed keeper.

16th Min: After a few saved efforts from Wren, the ball fell their way again and was met by Korpal, who sent the visitors into a 1-0 lead. 1-0 Shepshed.

22nd Min: After a possible penalty decision down the other end, the Royals found themselves level. Chad Timson turned the ball into the back of his own net from a long ball, wrong footing his keeper, Sutton 1- Shepshed 1.

28th Min: The game didn’t last long on level terms. Some poor defending from The Royals allowed Collins to turn in from close range. 1-2 Shepshed.

31st Min: Nightmare for Sutton as Wren brings down a Shepshed player in the box. It resulted in a penalty to the visitors which was despatched by Dixon.

HT Sutton 1-3 Shepshed Dynamo.

A poor half from the Royals, who really struggled to get any foothold in the game whatsoever.

45th Min: McGinnell and Dowd On

58th Min: Sutton’s first and last effort of the game came through Parry. He fired one straight at the keeper.

59th Min: Gyasi On

62nd Min: Bad to worse for the Royals as Tomkinson was dismissed for a high challenge on a Shepshed player.

70th Min: The visitors made it 4 with 20 to play Burkey finishing well past Wren.

76th Min: Burke On

Poor day for the Royals as their unbeaten run at the Arena comes to a close.
