It was another disappointing result on Tuesday night, and with a third defeat on the road despite the lads putting in a good performance, they came away with nothing. This Saturday sees The Royals travel to Derbyshire to take on Long Eaton who have had a great season so far.
Long Eaton is a club based in Derbyshire and were founded in 1956. They are nicknamed The Blues, and they play at George Park. Their home colours are Navy Blue, and they were United Counties League Premier North champions in 2021/22 season.
Long Eaton currently sit in 6th place just outside the playoffs. They are on 23 points after 13 games played, and Sutton are below them in 8th spot on 22 points having played 2 games more.
Long Eaton have won their last two games, including a very good result against Anstey Nomads last week beating them 5-2.
This will be the first meeting between these two sides, so hopefully for Sutton, it will be a much-needed win. Performances of late have been ok, but we just need the run of the green, and of course your support as always.
