The Royals are back on home turf again this week as they welcome Joe Kirkland’s Solihull Moors side.
Steve Benyon and his side will welcome the challenge of a visiting Solihull side.
Moors haven’t won in the League since early September, where they got their only win over bottom-place Lincoln City.
The Royals, however, are coming off the back of a big win last time out, which saw them beat promotion chasing Leafield 2-1 thanks to Niamh Deasy’s winning goal.
Last week’s fixture also saw the welcome return of shot-stopper Neve Jones, who put in an impressive display between the sticks.
The last meeting between the sides came on the opening day of the season, which saw the Royals kick off their campaign with a 1-0 win.
Former Moors player Eva Rogers was on the scoresheet earlier this season as her late winner gave the Royals an early three points.
The Royals boast an extensive list of former Solihull players, including Ell Bruton, Abby Jackson, Jodie Price, Emmalee Hornsby, Ellie Gibbs and Anna Renkin.
Steve Benyon hope his side will use last week’s result as a confidence boost going into this weekend’s fixture.
“After Sunday, there's an obvious confidence there, we've got to show respect; we've done our homework on them, but I know that they're probably going to make multiple changes.
“I'm sure that Joe has sent people down to come and watch, but I think a lot of people will do that because we’re starting to make the right noises.
“I've been speaking to Tash from Leafield quite a lot during the week as it's someone that I admire, she was open and said I thought your ladies were excellent. You don't show the position that you're in, but again, as you said, you've got to show mental consistency.
“If anything, I probably fear this game a little bit more than Leafield as I said, I feel that I know a lot about them, but they're a team that Joe is trying to turn around.
“He's a very young up-and-coming manager, and I've got a lot of respect for all the managers here, It's one of those where we will, again, prep the right way, we've had two really good sessions this week.
“We've got no additional injuries, we've got people coming back into the squad, which is exciting, the squad is competitive, but we've still not decided about the starting line-up. That's what I want; I want a good headache.
“Please come down to support the ladies, and hopefully, we'll put in another good performance, not only for Sutton Coldfield but also for the advocate of women’s football, we look forward to welcoming you in on Sunday.”
Join Steve Benyon’s Royals this Sunday by coming to the Domino’s Arena and show your support.
