Sutton Coldfield Town and Steve Benyon are delighted to announce a new staffing structure within the women’s section.
Mark Smith will take on the assistant manager role alongside Ally Forbes, who will take on the player/Assistant manager role.
Jamie Smith Wood will take on the position of first-team coach, with Lauren Whittington assuming the role of Player Development Coach.
Manzu-Lyn Cain will remain in his position as Sports Therapist.
Alongside the coaching staff, Benyon has added a performance analyst and a player recruitment manager.
On the new staffing structure, Benyon expressed his delight and ambition moving forward.
“I’m delighted to announce a revamp in our staffing structure.
“The reason for this is to maximise the expertise our current staff have as well as to ensure that all 4 of the players’ developmental corners (technical, tactical, physical and psychosocial) are covered and challenged in order to help push everyone forward not only as players and staff but also as a club.
“My aim also is to help develop the staff in their coaching and multi-disciplinary roles.
“The structure now rivals that of a tier 2/3 club, with the aim of leaving no stone unturned.”
