The message from Neil Tooth’s team is that they are ready and raring to go ahead of tomorrows tough opener against title favourites Coalville Town.

The Royals go into the match with a fully fit squad and we spoke to Toothy this morning to get his thoughts.

“I couldn’t be happier if im honest as we have come through the tough pre season schedule fighting fit and ready to go. We cant wait to get going and we are full of confidence heading into the opener. I have a fantastic set of players and their spirit for me sets them aside from most if not all teams in this league but now is the time for them to step and prove a few more people wrong who have already written us off.”

“We know its probably the toughest opening game we could have got with Coalville being massive favourites for the league. But they would have hoped for an easier game than this to get them started so it should be a cracker of a game.”

“In my opinion Coalville have a better squad than last year but so do we and although we go into the game as underdogs we are all focused on walking away with a positive result come 5pm tomorrow.”

The opener kicks off tomorrow at 3pm.
