Signed as a scholar for West Bromwich Albion in June 2010 after playing for six years in the junior set-up at The Hawthorns Centre Half Jordan then trialled with West Ham in the summer of 2012 before joining the Nike Academy. He also trialled for Norwich City's and played in their under-21 Development Squad in April 2013. In the summer of 2013 Tunnicliffe joined Barnsley, playing regularly for the club`s under-21 side and also spent time on loan at Stalybridge Celtic last season.

Tom is a talented midfielder who joins from tenants Romulus Fc. Tom played alongside Jordan at WBA before moving onto Stourbridge and then Romulus.

The Royals boss had this to say about his 2 new recruits. "Unless something drastic happens these will be the final two in before we get going next week. Tom agreed to join a few weeks back but Romulus wouldn't release him so we have had to wait which has been a pain if im honest but he is in now and im delighted. Jordan has been training with Alfreton and Solihull but neither could guarantee him games so we have agreed a deal and again its a great signing for us as he is fresh out of full time football. Im very happy with where my squad is right now and I think this is the strongest squad of players the club had had In a long time. Being greedy id idealy like to add another defender to the squad but for now im happy to run with what we have got. "

Both lads go straight into the squad for tomorrows final friendly against Belper and Tooth believes the game will set his team up for next weeks opener against Spalding. "Our games with Belper are always competitive and its what both sides need going into next weeks opener."
