Manager Neil Tooth wanted to ensure that he has cover in his squad for all positions and this week has completed five new signings.
Reece Gibson is a 21 year old striker who has had a fantastic season for Boldmere Falcons and has already scored over 40 goals in this campaign. Toothy is delighted to get Reece on board and said "Reece is a top lad, lives locally and clearly knows where the net is. He's got the opportunity now to show us what he can do at a higher level and I'm sure that he will make the most of it. Ryan Nesbitt will be with Solihull Moors next season so Reece knows that I'm looking for a new striker and it will be interesting to see how he gets on".
Cameron Day, 19, joins the Royals from Boldmere St Michaels having previously spent time with Preston North End. Cameron plays as a defender, either right back or central
Nathan Lawrence and Kyle Baskeyfield are the latest players to step up from Adam West's under 18 squad and Sam Oji, an experienced defender and currently with Highgate United, has signed on a dual registration basis.
Toothy is still working on a couple of other possible deals today so there may yet be more new faces by 5pm this afternoon. Or maybe not so new?.......................
